Synchronized Solutions
As we enter the driest time of the year, we are enjoying longer sunlight hours each day! This has allowed us to return to growing many of our favorite culinary herbs like basil, dill, and parsley! Also, we are planting many of the short cycle crops outside the greenhouse under the open sky including, lettuce, beets, kale, chile dulce, broccoli, cabbage, and more!
It has been dry for several days at a time which requires us to water with hose and lance out in Svarga and Sundaram gardens, although we occasionally get some “irrigation” support from the sky!
This month we reflect on creative solutions! Every challenge (and blessing) provides an opportunity to think critically. Can we see all challenges not as problems, but as a process leading to their eventual solutions? And how does that effect the way we relate to that experience, knowing that its outcome will be growth and learning?
This month was blooming with many sensory delights, including the introduction of a small flock of chickens!
In the coming months, we will be starting to save seeds from many of the plants we designated for this important task!
May we peacefully participate in the natural way in which the Dao moves life in all directions!
In Joy!
Namaste,
Hanuman
