Private Darshan Retreat with Shunyamurti

6-Night Private Retreats

Darshan is a Sanskrit term for a sacred meeting with a spiritual teacher, acharya, guru, sage, or other holy being. This can result in initiation, transmission of shakti—spiritual energy—and blessings for healing and God-realization.

A Personal Encounter with Shunyamurti

Shunyamurti has decided it is time to offer personal meetings with serious seekers of Truth.

This precious chance to receive initiation from Shunyamurti directly—and shift your vibrational frequency immediately to that of divine love and realization of your God-Self—may not last for long, since events in this world are accelerating rapidly toward social collapse and total chaos. We hope sincere aspirants will take advantage while the window of opportunity remains open!

Though it is ideal to immerse yourself in an energy field of peace and divine love for a significant period of meditation, study, and individual processing of internal obstacles to make spiritual progress toward God-realization, this new form of brief retreats is

designed to maximize your stabilization in the highest vibrational frequency in the shortest possible time. These retreats feature an individual session with Shunyamurti as well as complete immersion in our ashram energy field and community life for the duration of your stay.

In addition to classes and meditation sittings with adept yogis, you will be offered a tour of our grounds, including our magical food gardens and thriving greenhouses. The evenings provide you with a variety of sangha gatherings including documentary or feature films, devotional singing, or spiritual theater games, and more often silent or guided meditations, Satsangs with Shunyamurti, or other offerings of our wisdom school.

Testimonials

“Working with Shunyamurti was very interesting. From the teachings, I new that he was very insightful in different topics. With just a few words with him, I was able to see he was tuning in to what was going on with me. He gave me some really great things to realize, think about, and mostly realizations. It was very good for me to hear that because I have been doing a lot of spiritual work for a few years. In the process, when there is a relapse (of the ego), it can be frustrating and it feels like being back on ground zero again. Shunyamurti helped me realize that is not the case, it is just a matter of having an awareness of what is going on. Everything made sense again!”

~Mestre Marcelo Pereria, Brazil

“You need an example of someone that you can aspire to, and Shunya has been that for me. To express all of that unconditional love and acceptance of everyone regardless of who they are. Having that unconditional love and support. I am going to take the example that I got from Shunya and see everyone as the Divine and cultivate that within myself.”

~Chantelle, South Africa

Prana:

This is the subtle bio-electromagnetic energy that functions to keep the organism alive and well. It is known as Chi, or Qi, in China; ki in Japan; vril or od in the ancient Germanic shamanic traditions; mana in Polynesia; and renamed in the West variously as orgone, élan vital, and animal magnetism. It should be differentiated from Shaktipat, which is a much higher vibrational force that descends from supraphysical dimensions, and is related to Brahman, or the scalar force that operates via the cosmic Aether, and is responsible for the opening of the Thousand Petalled Lotus at the crown of the head. Prana is also different from Kundalini Shakti, which is the rising energy that emerges from the root chakra (Muladhara) to activate the higher chakras and stabilize the opening of the Third Eye.

Brahmachari:

One whose consciousness has merged with Brahman, the Absolute, and thus has been liberated from all desire, fear, attachment, and material frames of reference. Thus, a Brahmachari naturally lives a life of celibacy, simplicity, and inner solitude.

Satsang:

Meditative meetings in which the highest teachings are shared. Shunyamurti also offers guidance during questions and answers to resolve the most difficult and delicate matters of the heart.

Teleological:

Information, energy, or nonlinear change that occurs as the effect of events that take place in the future and alter the past, which is perceived in the present as non-ordinary phenomena, synchronicities, unpredictable emergent properties or other notable explicate arisings. The source of such forces may also lie beyond chronological time, in higher dimensions of the Real.

The process of non-process:

Since awakening is instantaneous, along with the recognition that one was never really in the dream, but enjoying the creation of the dream, it must be understood that making awakening into a process can only be part of the dream, and has nothing to do with Awakening itself.

The Real:

When we speak of the Real, unless otherwise qualified, we mean the Supreme Real. The Supreme Real does not appear. Appearance is not Real. All that appears is empty of true existence. There are no real things. All that is phenomenal is temporary, dependent, and reducible to a wave function of consciousness. The world does not exist independent of consciousness. There is no matter or material world. All is made of consciousness. Pure consciousness is Presence. It is no-thing, non-objective, not in space or time. All that appears in Presence, or to Presence, is an emanation of Presence, but is not different from That. This is one meaning of nonduality.

The Real is also a term used in Lacanian psychoanalysis. What Lacan means by the Real is that aspect of phenomenal appearance which is overwhelming, traumatic, or impossible. We would call that Real One. It is a relative Real, not Absolute. We add that there is a Real Two, which consists of divine love. Love is not an appearance, but it changes appearance, through recognition of its Source, into a divine manifestation, a projection of God’s sublimely beautiful Mind as infinite fractal holographic cosmos. Real Three is the unchanging Absolute, beyond all conception or image.

Dharma and dharma:

When we use the term Dharma (capitalized), we refer to our dedication to living in accord with the timeless principles of impeccable integrity that keep us in harmony with Nature and our Supernatural Source.

When we use the term without capitalization, we refer to our acceptance of the community’s processes, protocols, and chain of command with the “Haji! Spirit” of going the “extra mile” and working overtime when necessary to make the impossible inevitable, as our unconditional act of surrender to Love.
