My experience during the Quarantine Immersion Program, was beautiful and sacred. A wonderful blessing from God. A reminder that HE is always there.

My program was from July 27th – August 23rd and my quarantine from the 27th until August 5th.

If you are thinking of visiting the Ashram, I would advise to make the most of this 10 day sacred time of aloneness. Come with an open heart, open mind and allow any resisitances to come up. Have faith and know that all is good

Limit the use of cel phones, social media, internet, contacting people from the outside world , unless its an emergency. Use this time to read, to do journaling, express anything that can arise through art, to meditate.

If any anxiety, fear, density arises , always know that you are supported not only by the beloved Sangha but by God. Sit with the uncomfortable feeling and turn it into comfort. Dont fall prey for any thoughts , that might distract you. Give in those feelings and the Supreme will take care of the rest.

Make this time YOUR time. Your time to look at yourself with no defenses, no judgements, instead go deep within you and allow. Allow your heart to open . You are in a contained , safe environment. In my case, I had built so many walls around my heart that it actually felt heavy , but when I made the time to allow , to allow forgiveness, to allow the light in, those walls crumbled and I was able to feel the lightness in my heart. This is the reason why I recommend that optional outdoor seva Sat Yoga offers. Removing the tree moss, felt like removing the ego stains/thoughts from my heart, which can be very suffocating and by helping the trees, I was helping myself. Taking care of the trees , feeling part of them , was my offering to God. It helped me in cultivating my devotion to God and the Sangha and not my ego.

Appreciate and admire the nature around you. It reminded me everyday of the beauty and stillness of God and of how that beauty and stillness is within us if we only attune to it. Go outside and breathe in , while closing the eyes, that healing , peaceful energy of the Ashram. Allow Gods energy to flow freely. Dont resist, dont block. It really helped me in moments of mental discomfort.

I also recommend using the art material provided by Sat Yoga, to express your inner journey. I always felt overshadowed by my moms realistic perfect paintings and this was my moment to break through her super ego voice and draw what ever I felt inspired to, without being a critique , or judging my art. Everything has a meaning and everything is beautiful. You can later discuss your inspired art during individual sessions, which I highly recommend if you are in this process of realization.

If you enjoy writing , take the time to do it. Whenever anxiety kicked in , instead of distracting myself externally, I would write. Even if its nothing fancy or just a couple of words it helps to read it then as a 3rd person and be able to see what exactly the feeling is or what was triggering that feeling, which I would later discuss in my individual sessions.

And last but not least, try to take full advantage and practice inner silence daily. Use the external silence of the Ashram and turn it inward and the magic will follow. I cant promise everyday is inner silence, there are days where the mind can be a bit rajasic and dense but if we focus on God and that God is stillness, the
unsteadiness of the mind, will turn into calm, light weather.

May your 10 days be full of bliss, love, insights and beauty.

Many blessings….

Before I arrived I was told that I would be asked to stay in ‘isolation” or “karantain” for 10 days before I could join the community. The words alone made me associate with beeing sick and gave me a cold hospital feeling. Now the name is change to Kaivalya coocooning which is great because the ten days of isolation was something quite different than I accociated it with as I was about to experience.

Uppon arriving at the Ashram I was met by the kind yogi Kalki who showed me around in the beautiful house that was to be my coocoon. The bedroom was prepared with flowers, yogamat, meditation cushion and clean towels and everything else I could be in need of and was much more than I had anticipated. A fully equipped kitchen and refrigerator was also available. I thought I was on a luxury holiday with what was beeing offered.

Amrita and Saraswati were available with information on how to get linked up to the meditations online and everything else I needed to know. There willingness to be of service with anything I needed was felt.

Food was brought to the porch and was served like on an airplane paked in Tupperware and was delicious and plenty full. The daily menu was sent together with a kind greeting from Tara.

Purushas daily sessions where we would discuss the online lessons presented by Radha Ma was a dooropener into the Sat Yoga wisdoms schools basic filosofi and helped to prepare the mind for a new way of thinking. Purushas non-judgmental listening and clear way of holding the space made it easy to open up and discuss this sometimes new topic which is both universal and personal.

Urwashi would inspire me to express in creative painting and that helped process a dream I had had and to understand it deeper.

Early mornings outdoor seva, cleaning cacao trees from parasites and moss was a clear metaphor for the process going on inside my mind. Cleaning away all unnecessary thoughts and parasitic memories no longer needed.

Indeed it was a time of coocooning, resting (and getting over the jetlag) and allowing the world I came from to evaporate and being present with what was here. A new world. The days passed quickly and was well planned with a daily schedule where there was time for meditation, optional seva, online lessons, check in from Amrita, food time and plenty off space to just relax and tuning in to the adventure to come.

On the tenth day I woke up with a beating heart. The day of leaving the vomb/coocoon had come and I felt excitement but also the vulnerability of having to let go of my safe space and meet the world again. A part of me wanted to stay in the safe comfort of the cooccon. But I knew I was ready to fly with the new wings that I had developed, and wanted to meet my buddahflyfriends who were waiting to see me.

I think for anyone coming here for a longer visit the kaivalya coocooning is a wonderful loving transisioning from the outside world to the world inside. It gave me time for reflexion and adjustment and made me more prepared and receptive to what the ashram has to offer.

Thank you again for your loving service.

Brahmachari:

One whose consciousness has merged with Brahman, the Absolute, and thus has been liberated from all desire, fear, attachment, and material frames of reference. Thus, a Brahmachari naturally lives a life of celibacy, simplicity, and inner solitude.

Satsang:

Meditative meetings in which the highest teachings are shared. Shunyamurti also offers guidance during questions and answers to resolve the most difficult and delicate matters of the heart.

Teleological:

Information, energy, or nonlinear change that occurs as the effect of events that take place in the future and alter the past, which is perceived in the present as non-ordinary phenomena, synchronicities, unpredictable emergent properties or other notable explicate arisings. The source of such forces may also lie beyond chronological time, in higher dimensions of the Real.

The process of non-process:

Since awakening is instantaneous, along with the recognition that one was never really in the dream, but enjoying the creation of the dream, it must be understood that making awakening into a process can only be part of the dream, and has nothing to do with Awakening itself.

The Real:

When we speak of the Real, unless otherwise qualified, we mean the Supreme Real. The Supreme Real does not appear. Appearance is not Real. All that appears is empty of true existence. There are no real things. All that is phenomenal is temporary, dependent, and reducible to a wave function of consciousness. The world does not exist independent of consciousness. There is no matter or material world. All is made of consciousness. Pure consciousness is Presence. It is no-thing, non-objective, not in space or time. All that appears in Presence, or to Presence, is an emanation of Presence, but is not different from That. This is one meaning of nonduality.

The Real is also a term used in Lacanian psychoanalysis. What Lacan means by the Real is that aspect of phenomenal appearance which is overwhelming, traumatic, or impossible. We would call that Real One. It is a relative Real, not Absolute. We add that there is a Real Two, which consists of divine love. Love is not an appearance, but it changes appearance, through recognition of its Source, into a divine manifestation, a projection of God’s sublimely beautiful Mind as infinite fractal holographic cosmos. Real Three is the unchanging Absolute, beyond all conception or image.

Dharma and dharma:

When we use the term Dharma (capitalized), we refer to our dedication to living in accord with the timeless principles of impeccable integrity that keep us in harmony with Nature and our Supernatural Source.

When we use the term without capitalization, we refer to our acceptance of the community’s processes, protocols, and chain of command with the “Haji! Spirit” of going the “extra mile” and working overtime when necessary to make the impossible inevitable, as our unconditional act of surrender to Love.
