Freedom Requires Sovereignty of Consciousness

Do you really want to know what is happening? Shunyamurti offers a spiritual understanding of the situation at hand and an archeological perspective on the eschaton, the imminent end of the world that consciousness is now dreaming as the moment in which we have the power to choose to leap out of the matrix or languish in it. Now is the moment to get out while you still can, by finding the strength to break through the hegemonic control of your mind and into the supreme levels of consciousness that are available to those who yearn for true freedom and sovereignty.

Cut All Obsolete Cords and Live Free!

What does it mean to be divorced in the heart? Shunyamurti brings clarity to a common question about disentanglement, the withdrawal of projection in relationships—and the radical acceptance that is required for one to release those projection, settle the karma, and sail blissfully into the unknown unencumbered by the anchor of an other.

Master the Slippery Logic of Nonduality

Shunyamurti reminds us that the world is unreal and there is only the Real, which is regained by returning to silence, where the eternal eloquence of truth can be heard and eternal presence can be felt in Absolute Absence—but in order to swaha into the infinite, we must surrender the mind that creates the illusion of time.

Giving Thanks for the Miracle to Come

This reflection upon the US holiday of Thanksgiving is offered in a way that is relevant to those of all nations, and appropriate for the tenor of the current historic moment. Many have lost all they once gave thanks for in this time of tyranny and lost ideals. What is required now is to act in such a way that future generations will be thankful for what we have done, the sacrifice we have made, to ensure the restoration of what is truly great and worthy in the human spirit. Let us transform this obsolete holiday into a Re-Constitution Day—we must re-constitute our nature from that of sheep into lionhearted spiritual warriors. By making the ultimate sacrifice of the ego, recovering our nature as souls, we shall be empowered to initiate the renewal of our world to its original pristine state of beauty, secured by divine love, and sustained by noble goodness. Our heroic action now will found the culture of the future, and we can feel their gratitude even as we raise our consciousness to the infinite Self in this very moment. All thanks be to God.

Raising a Child Requires Total Sacrifice

“What is the importance and the responsibility of a parent now at the end of Kali Yuga?” Shunyamurti addresses this question with a brief description of the devolution of parenthood throughout the Yugas, and in the last centuries of Kali Yuga in particular, and with a reminder of what truly dharmic child raising is all about.

St. Seraphim’s Method of Attaining Supreme Power

In this classic teaching, Shunyamurti uses the teaching of Saint Seraphim of Sarov, (a great Russian Saint), alongside other traditions, to reveal the true aim of spiritual seekers: To get out of ignorance and remember you are free, so you can pass through the illusion into the Ultimate Reality. The contemplation of consciousness precipitates Presence, and this activates the realization that returns consciousness to stillness. If you aim to know the Truth, be still. Recorded on the evening of Thursday, June 28, 2012.

Brahmachari:

One whose consciousness has merged with Brahman, the Absolute, and thus has been liberated from all desire, fear, attachment, and material frames of reference. Thus, a Brahmachari naturally lives a life of celibacy, simplicity, and inner solitude.

Satsang:

Meditative meetings in which the highest teachings are shared. Shunyamurti also offers guidance during questions and answers to resolve the most difficult and delicate matters of the heart.

Teleological:

Information, energy, or nonlinear change that occurs as the effect of events that take place in the future and alter the past, which is perceived in the present as non-ordinary phenomena, synchronicities, unpredictable emergent properties or other notable explicate arisings. The source of such forces may also lie beyond chronological time, in higher dimensions of the Real.

The process of non-process:

Since awakening is instantaneous, along with the recognition that one was never really in the dream, but enjoying the creation of the dream, it must be understood that making awakening into a process can only be part of the dream, and has nothing to do with Awakening itself.

The Real:

When we speak of the Real, unless otherwise qualified, we mean the Supreme Real. The Supreme Real does not appear. Appearance is not Real. All that appears is empty of true existence. There are no real things. All that is phenomenal is temporary, dependent, and reducible to a wave function of consciousness. The world does not exist independent of consciousness. There is no matter or material world. All is made of consciousness. Pure consciousness is Presence. It is no-thing, non-objective, not in space or time. All that appears in Presence, or to Presence, is an emanation of Presence, but is not different from That. This is one meaning of nonduality.

The Real is also a term used in Lacanian psychoanalysis. What Lacan means by the Real is that aspect of phenomenal appearance which is overwhelming, traumatic, or impossible. We would call that Real One. It is a relative Real, not Absolute. We add that there is a Real Two, which consists of divine love. Love is not an appearance, but it changes appearance, through recognition of its Source, into a divine manifestation, a projection of God’s sublimely beautiful Mind as infinite fractal holographic cosmos. Real Three is the unchanging Absolute, beyond all conception or image.

Dharma and dharma:

When we use the term Dharma (capitalized), we refer to our dedication to living in accord with the timeless principles of impeccable integrity that keep us in harmony with Nature and our Supernatural Source.

When we use the term without capitalization, we refer to our acceptance of the community’s processes, protocols, and chain of command with the “Haji! Spirit” of going the “extra mile” and working overtime when necessary to make the impossible inevitable, as our unconditional act of surrender to Love.
