Amazing Harvests, Major Projects, and
Seeds Galore!
This month, we reaped the benefits from sunny weeks in February and March. It has been important to take full advantage of the driest time of the year to develop and improve the ashram infrastructure, like roads and new covered spaces. We’ve been blessed to continue growing our food security initiatives, which required bringing in heavy trucks and delivering all kinds of building materials, like wood, metal, rocks, and sand.
In this time, we have also been able to successfully save many seeds, which is a major key to sustainability.
But now the rains have returned, and we are challenged to continue to be flexible, open, and patient. And with every solution, new systems and routines are constantly being developed. Luckily, we have a great team that is openly learning and growing, even as teammates come and go!
These dancing landscapes remind us of the importance of sattvic communication. There are so many details in every world (and sub-world) that clear, patient communication is incredibly valuable. It keeps schedules and routines on track, and when the inevitable “storm” hits, we can dance in the winds and adjust our course accordingly!
In Joy!
