22 Jun 2021The first trap (and perhaps the last) that befalls the spiritual aspirant is the desire for self improvement; this then becomes the desire to be ‘worthy’ before God as expressed in a religious vein. Alas however, all such desire is the egoic image itself wishing to quell its ongoing miseries. There is nothing that needs be improved upon, only many mistaken thoughts and beliefs to be let go of. Here exactly is why redirected belief becomes the cornerstone of all salvation.
