The focus of the cognitive aspect of this meditative seminar will be on the deep implications of the core texts of the Kashmir Shaivite lineage of teachers of absolute nonduality (Paradvaita). But the inner dimension of the intensive will concentrate on the refinement of our consciousness to the level of the Mahayogi.
This state has been famously described in a tantric text called the Chandrajnana, as follows: “Just as when the moon, like a flower, shines everywhere, it instantly gladdens the world with delightful feelings, so, O Devi, when the great Yogi wanders over the world, he everywhere causes joy to the world-simulation, from Hell to Shiva, by means of the light of his Knowledge.”
In this condensed retreat, Shunyamurti will deliver the core understanding that brings instantaneous freedom from lack, suffering, and illusion. But the knowledge must be internalized and activated. About Shunyamurti
Shunyamurti is an adept healer, he is the founder and spiritual director of the Sat Yoga Institute and Ashram.
Many years of meditation practice and training in numerous forms of yoga, including apprenticeship with Baba Hari Dass, ten years of vowed association with an ashram in India, and a special resonance with Sri Ramana Maharshi have been supplemented by the intensive study of Western metaphysics, various forms of psychoanalysis and Jungian dreamwork, as well as Taoism, Kabbalah, and mystical Christianity.
