Bountiful Harvests!
From roots such as ginger and beets to lettuces, eggplant, and brassicas, there is much to be grateful for!
The Short Cycle report for August beautifully captures the bountiful harvests produced in the Arunachala greenhouses and gardens, including the first round of planting in the Ashram’s newest vivero (greenhouse), Jagadamba Kanyaka (KANyaKAH), which means the World Mother’s Daughter.
This report dedicates a few pages to Jagadamba Kanyaka and all the joyous efforts that were made to create the planting beds, soil mixes, and a watering system. You’ll also find more observations and lessons learned in the realms of seeding; the many challenges of climate and creatures that also love to feast on our bountiful harvests; daily routines and the infinite beauty that abounds!
In-joy!
