The form of social organization proven most capable of transmitting the highest cultural and spiritual attainments down through time is the ashram, an intentional community of renunciate yogis vowed to uphold the authentic Dharma and attain Liberation for the benefit of all beings. Since being founded in 2009, the Sat Yoga Ashram has been helping seekers of the Real to prepare for the planetary transition that is underway.
Our wisdom school, founded in 2002, functions at a postgraduate level of training to harness and activate the latent powers of consciousness to serve the world.
Sat Yoga is the practice of abidance in the Primordial State, transcendent of ego. The byproducts of this attainment include joy, healing, and a ceaseless flow of creativity.
The Sat Yoga Ashram functions as a refuge of peace and renewal, a living model of a more uplifting way of being that offers hope in a time of despair.
Our community welcomes sincere seekers of benevolent wisdom to join us for retreats and stay for extended periods of study, service, and healing. After becoming acquainted with our spiritual family and its lifeways, some may want to become lifelong residents and members of our tribe, and we are open to exploring that option through a deepening process of relationship, initiation, understanding, and mutual recognition.
A unique approach to actualizing our full potential for Self-transformation and empowerment, the Sat Yoga Institute is unlike any school of yoga in the past. We employ a wide variety of tools and practices to gain the ability to silence the thought process, open the Third Eye to perceive the multidimensional Real, eliminate toxic notions, affects, and behaviors, and heal the wounds that have constricted our creativity and openness to love.
The underlying gnosis transmitted goes beyond any doctrines of religions or theories of philosophy or schools of psychoanalysis. The process of non-process encourages the release of interferences to Presence.
Moments of stillness and sublime peace alternate with hours of hard work, intensive study, and perseverance in the overcoming of the self- sabotaging tendencies of the ego, until the attainment of excellence, emptiness, and mastery is achieved.
Our approach develops one’s innate drives and yearnings for fulfillment into their most refined and divinized archetypal forms and beyond, into the realization of the formless Self.
Shunyamurti’s own search for a way to live in this world without self-betrayal and in constant process of growth and individuation, transcendence of the ego, and attunement to the Source of creative intelligence and love, has led to the unfoldment of this non-ordinary social-psycho-spiritual project.
He is always learning, changing, deepening his understanding and empathy, humbly correcting his course, guided by his connection to the One Supreme Being, Whom he serves. He joyfully lives the paradox of changeless nonduality manifesting as multiplicity in ceaseless becoming, surfing the quantum waves while abiding as the stillness of the Unified Field.

We tend to all the details required for encouraging the letting go of stress and ego defenses. We combine an environment of natural beauty, fresh delicious meals, comfortable lodgings, stimulating classes, and transformational processes, with individual sessions of inner alchemy, heart opening communal events, and hours of silence and solitude to serve the purpose of divine rebirth.
We thrive as a family of resonant souls dedicated to harmony with one another, Nature, and Infinite Consciousness. We are fulfilling a teleological destiny by returning to our Original Nature.
We serve as guardians of each other’s solitude and metamorphosis. The tribe is growing in size as we grow in depth of understanding and love. Our appreciation for the awesome character of the spiritual journey to Liberation enables us to open our hearts to all, and to welcome into our community those who seek Oneness with the Absolute.
The Sat Yoga Foundation is devoted to the repair of our ravaged planet and our corrupted culture. We are working diligently on all levels for the rehabilitation of our world.
We are engaged in such projects as reforestation, watershed protection, erosion control, and development of wildlife corridors and sanctuaries.
We also function in the field of education, counseling, and networking with a wide variety of civic groups, sister communities, and service-oriented social organizations. We offer seminars in leadership, community building, and sustainable agricultural practices.
